ABOUT THIS PUZZLE

How hard can a 9 card edge matching puzzle be?

The simple answer is:
MUCH HARDER THAN YOU WOULD SUSPECT.

You might think these puzzles are easy since there can’t be that many different combinations to go through. While the puzzle has only nine cards, all of the cards can be rotated in four different directions. On top of that each card could be placed in any of the nine different positions in the 3 by 3 grid so that all the edges match. Adding all of that together gives you 95,126,814,720 different combinations which means that you will be trying combinations for a very, very long time.

If you are looking for an easy to moderately difficult puzzle, this puzzle is not for you. This puzzle is pretty much a test of endurance. If you like a good challenge though you’ll definitely enjoy this puzzle game.
